Ministry is a high calling—one filled with deep rewards, but also seasons of exhaustion and discouragement. At DFC, we recognize the challenges pastors face and want to offer EnGedi, a new initiative designed to provide a day of retreat, renewal, and encouragement for those in ministry.

What is EnGedi?

​

Mentioned several times in the Old Testament, EnGedi is a life-giving oasis in the harsh Judean wilderness—a place of refuge and refreshment. Inspired by this, DFC’s En Gedi is a one-day retreat dedicated to helping pastors step away from the demands of ministry and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Our day together will reflect the core values of Dunamis:

• Spirit-led worship and prayer

• Time to listen to God and be refreshed

• A peaceful setting of intercessory prayer and trust
