About the event
Being empowered by the Holy Spirit is like having a power source outside yourself. Gateways to Empowered Ministry is the foundational teaching for the entire Dunamis Project but experienced in a new format that we are calling Dunamis Essentials. In DE#1 - Gateways, you’ll develop a worldview that is shaped by the Bible and discover the empowering, gift-giving work of the Holy Spirit. Gateways is a core teaching on the person and works of the Holy Spirit, from a Biblical and reformed theological framework. Through teaching, discussion, reflection and practical workshops, we aim to foster an opportunity for a community of believers to experience the gifts, and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
The Dunamis Project vs Dunamis Essentials
The Dunamis Project is the central training of DFC to help you cooperate with the Holy Spirit in whatever ministry you may have, in whatever part of the world you may live. It is a series of 6 conferences, 4 or 5 full days each, over a 3-year period with solid biblical teaching about the person and work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
Dunamis Essentials is an abridged version of each of the 6 Dunamis Projects, still over 3 years, where we teach the content in a condensed time frame, either on-line or in-person. You will get to experience live teaching, small groups and worship together. Our goal is to make the Dunamis teachings more accessible to more people.
This event is fully in-person at the Providence Renewal Centre in Edmonton, AB but offered Thursday evening, all day Friday and all-day Saturday.

Cost varies depending on accommodations and meal choices. See tickets for details.
If you would like to pay via etransfer or cheque, please choose offline payment. If you are providing your own meals, the system wants "something" beside an option, please choose offline payment but don't send the $5 payment.

Manuals will be handed out at the event. Let us know at the event if you need a PDF version.
Teachers:
Rev. Trevor Payton has served as the Executive Director of Dunamis Fellowship Canada since September 2018. He thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to bring the Dunamis teaching to people because this material has renewed and reshaped his own life so powerfully. Since July of 2000 Trevor has been married to his wife, Erin. They have five children, whom they also home-school. Trevor’s hobbies include soccer and strategy games, as well as just about anything that involves lightsabers or hobbits.
Offering:
All events organized by Dunamis Fellowship Canada are offering based. Registration fees cover venue costs and meals. During your event, you'll be invited to share in the vision of Dunamis Fellowship Canada and give an offering towards the ministry to advance our mission of equipping people to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
