About the event

History

For over 30 years now Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International (PRMI) has taught on Healing and Deliverance. Many of our PRMI / Dunamis family can give testimonies of how this has released them to live their lives to the full as Jesus intended.

The Dunamis Project includes teaching on Healing in ‘The Healing Ministry of Jesus’ (DP4) and on Deliverance in ‘Equipping for Spiritual Warfare and Kingdom Advancement’ (DP5).

For nearly 20 years PRMI has made available a year-long intensive training course for individuals like you who are ready to learn more. This course is entitled ‘The Advanced Course on Healing and Deliverance’ (ACHD). The ACHD is a big commitment, and we know not everyone feeling called into the healing ministry can embark on it.

So, what is the Intermediate Course on Healing and Deliverance?

The Intermediate Course on Healing and Deliverance (ICHD) is a crossover, with more than just the teaching included in Dunamis Project 4 and Dunamis Project 5, but is less than participants receive in the Advanced Course on Healing and Deliverance.

The intermediate course contains:

  • Systematic Teaching from experienced teachers and healing practitioners on inner healing and deliverance.

  • Small Group Work under the guidance of experienced mentors where the healing process is modelled, and you also get the opportunity to take part both as trainee practitioners and as the person being prayed for.

  • Worship and prayer so that everything is clearly focused on Jesus.

  • Fellowship and networking during breaks and meals.

Some topics included in the teaching sessions are:

  • Why is there so much pain and sorrow in the world? How can we address this?

  • How Jesus ministered healing – what can we learn from the accounts in the Bible?

  • The importance of working in teams and good self-care for practitioners.

  • How the Holy Spirit leads and guides us to use the spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12 to bring about effective healing.

  • How does deep wounding occur, and why can the pain get buried in our subconscious?

  • A systematic look at ministering to that pain in the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • What about deliverance ministry? Is it really necessary? Surely demonic oppression doesn’t happen in our culture today! Can Christians be oppressed by demons?

  • What to do if we suspect demonic oppression?

  • Staying free after your healing.

What is the commitment prior to attending the residential aspect of the course?

  1. Read Let Jesus Heal Your Hidden Wounds by Brad Long and Cindy Strickler. Please order from Amazon.ca once your application is approved.

  2. Watch pre-recorded videos in your own time (approx. 3 hours)

  3. Attend two online classes before the in-person meeting (approximately 2 hours each) Thursdays February 12 and 26, 7-8:30 PM ET.

About the Residential aspect of the course

The course will be offered at Maranatha Church in Belleville, ON, March 3-7, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm on Tuesday March 3 and concluding with lunch on Saturday, March 7th.  It is essential that participants are present for all sessions. Please see Bookings and Inquiries below for costs.

All teaching, lunch and supper will be at Maranatha Church in Belleville, ON. Participants will be responsible for their own housing and breakfast.

What is the commitment after attending the in-person course

We will be offering one zoom call after the event. This is a critical part of the course and will give you a chance to check back in and share your learnings from the ICHD. It will also serve as a place for us to get your feedback, as this is a prototype course.

We will confirm a date when we meet in March, after polling the group about best time of day. Please be thinking ahead about whether a daytime or evening meeting will work best. We will look to schedule this meeting about 2 weeks after the residential portion of the course.

Bookings and Inquiries

This course is by pre-approved registration only. We are not requiring attendance at Dunamis 4 and 5 before being considered for this course. If you have attended one or both of these, that will be a great help, but it is not a pre-requisite. The pre-work will introduce some basic principles of cooperation with the Holy Spirit that are critical to entering this course.

If you feel that the Lord desires to grow you into this type of ministry, then please complete the application form by or before January 31, 2026 and we will be in touch with you.

Cost of the Course:

PRMI and DFC are faith-based ministries. We do charge for meals and facility costs. A separate registration link will be sent to those approved for the course. Cost for Meals and snacks: $210 - 4 lunches, 4 suppers, plus snacks. We do not charge for our teaching. While there is no fee for the course itself, you will have the opportunity to give an offering to help cover the cost of manuals, travel expenses and meals for the teachers and mentors who will be present with us during our time together. Any amount given to offset the cost is greatly appreciated and all donations will receive a tax receipt. Please do not let finances keep you from applying and attending. Maybe consider asking your church for help with finances.
