Rev. Trevor Payton
Executive Director
trevor@dfcanada.org
Rev. Trevor Payton, has served as the Executive Director of Dunamis Fellowship Canada since September 2018. He is eager to see Christians thrive all across Canada: cooperating with the Holy Spirit as they witness to Jesus Christ with the love of the Father. Trevor has been ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Christian Reformed Church since 2006, serving churches in Ontario and New Jersey. He thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to bring the Dunamis teaching to people because this material has renewed and reshaped his own life so powerfully. Since July of 2000 Trevor has been married to his wife, Erin. They have five children, whom they also home-school. Trevor’s hobbies include soccer and strategy games, as well as just about anything that involves lightsabers or hobbits.
Patti Tan
Ministry Coordinator
dfc@dfcanada.org
Patti has been the Ministry Coordinator at DFC since September 2018. Patti is a dedicated educator with over 13 years of experience in Alternative Education. She has successfully homeschooled her three children through elementary and high school. Patti also helps others organize and downsize their spaces for a healthier and more useful environment. She is committed to personal healing and has attended several Dunamis events to gather community and continue her lifelong learning journey.
Rev. Martin Boardman
Director of Prayer Mobilization
martin@mobilizingprayer.org
Martin was a founding member of Dunamis Fellowship Canada. Dunamis answered the questions he had about the Holy Spirit in a systematic and Biblical way opening the door to drawing closer in intimacy with the Lord. Martin served as pastor in Brooks Alberta until the end of 2016. He and his wife Marlene and their sons continue to make Alberta their home while Martin serves in his current role as Prayer Mobilizer. He helps equip intercessors to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the work Jesus is calling us to do through small groups or cohorts of prayer, who, empowered by the Spirit, can engage in the battle for the advancement of God's kingdom. Watching people, churches and communities grow in their understanding and practice of prayer is one of the most rewarding experiences.
Ashley Patton
Director of Youth and
Young Adult Ministries
ashley@dfcanada.org
Ashley has officially served as the Youth and Young Adult Coordinator for Dunamis Fellowship Canada since July 2021, but she has been involved in the worldwide Dunamis youth ministry, Upward Challenge, since the summer of 2018. She desires to see young people not only taught about who is the Holy Spirit, but to be given the tools to live out the dance with Him in everyday life. The Dunamis teachings have transformed her life, and she cannot wait to get a front row seat to see how they will transform others. When she is not serving DFC, you can find her working for The King’s University in their Community Relations office in Edmonton, Alberta. Outside of her two jobs, she enjoys cycling, spending time with friends and family, serving her local church, bursting randomly into song, and playing lots of card games. Skyjo, anyone?

Andy Van Bodegom

They all live in the area and visit often. As an Elder in the Presbyterian church for many years, he has taught many Bible Studies. The Truth of His Word has become a real blessing. Now that the Presbyterian Church in Canada has drifted away from the truth of scripture, Andy and Sue have begun attending a Christian Reformed congregation in the area. He loves sports of all kinds, geeky things of all kinds and eating good food of all kinds. In the words of the great Jedi Master Kenobi… “May The Force Be With You.”
Shelly Billiald
(Alberta)
Shelly started her time on the DFC board in April 2022. She has been involved with DFC since her first track in Edmonton in 2014. She started volunteering with DFC almost immediately in various roles but currently serves as administrator for tracks in Edmonton. She has been married to her husband Ian since 2006, and they have 4 wonderful children. Shelly was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for 13 years before returning to work in 2020 at a local grocery store. Over the years she has volunteered in their local community, at their kids’ Spanish school, and in their home church, including a local church plant in her home town.
Gerry Noordegraaf
(Ontario)
Gerry first encountered Dunamis after her pastor tapped her on the shoulder and said, "There's a conference in Guelph - I think you should go" She did, and God made himself known to her. It was the beginning of a beautiful journey of discovering prayer and the Holy Spirit. It was God's perfect timing because that year her sweet husband of 45 years was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and passed peacefully 3 years later. Now with 5 grown children and 8 grandchildren, she is free to participate with Dunamis in Intercession. Gerry has been a pig farmer's helpmate, a school bus driver, school board member, a deacon, an elder, a lawyer's office assistant, a chiropractic office manager and made thousands of pies for fundraising. Gardening and house renos were sprinkled throughout. This new place of intercession for Dunamis, PRMI and in her church at Alliston CRC is where God has been calling her to walk with him and that's where you will usually find her.
